WELCOME TO NYCFriendsII. We are a group of volunteers who set up social events in the NYC area for people with "H" and offer each other support and friendship.

Please help support the group by attending events - they're lots of fun and a great way to meet people, plus it boosts everyone's morale. Introduce yourself to other members or even just say hi to another member, especially one that you don't know. Initiate a chat session, volunteer to help with events (organizing, special projects), give suggestions, and share and help other members with any questions they might have.

Let's all work together to make this a fun and interesting board.

DONATIONS AT SOCIALS: We do not collect donations at every social event; however, if the group runs low on funds or a special circumstance arises, like paying for a DJ, then donations will be collected. Any and all money collected at a social event is used to cover out-of-pocket expenses, including, but not limited to, stationery and printing costs for flyers, balloons, name tags or wrist bands, advertising, balloons, decorations, space deposits, DJ expenses and other miscellaneous expenses. A suggested donation of $5.00 would be greatly appreciated, but it is not mandatory - any and all donations are appreciated. Membership in NYCFriends itself is free.
